A self-proclaimed “military brat” I grew up all over the world including Alaska, Asia and Europe, my dad was in the Air Force. After graduating from high school in Germany I came back to the United States and studied Fine Arts at Solono Community College and completed my BA in Communications from Sacramento State University.
I started my career working in broadcasting and journalism which led to promotions, public relations for non-profits, and communications for public education.
After 23 years in public service, I am semi-retired and have rediscovered my preferred medium – watercolor painting. I paint from inspiration from my gardens and nature. I am an avid gardener living in the Pacific Northwest where the winters are long. Painting flowers helps me wait for spring and enjoy my gardens at the same time.
